A man who retired from a California poultry processing facility in 2015 has been convicted of workers’ compensation insurance fraud, according to the Stanislaus County District Attorney’s Office.
Gurmail Singh pleaded no contest Feb. 28 to making false statements to obtain workers’ compensation benefits after reporting an on-the-job injury at a Foster Farms plant in 2014, according to the DA’s Office.
