The New York Workers' Compensation Board this week remembered longtime worker advocate Edwin Ruff, who died May 10.
Ruff, 75, was appointed to the position of advocate for injured workers at the board in 1998 by then-Gov. George Pataki. He was remembered as a facilitator who would work with labor and management to resolve issues and employer violations cited by the board.
