Local officials in Southampton Village, N.Y., have issued two summonses to a concrete contractor in connection with the death of a construction worker killed when a retaining wall collapsed last Monday.Newsday reported that village officials have issued summonses to The Saldana's Concrete Corp., of Farmingville, N.Y., alleging a code violation and unsafe working conditions.Facundo Gonzalez, 33, was killed when a 19-foot-long, 6-foot-high retaining wall collapsed and trapped him beneath it, the newspaper reported.It took rescuers about 10 minutes to dig Gonzales out of the rubble.
