Total direct written premium fell by 11.4% in 2020 to an eight-year low of $10.11 billion, according to a bulletin from the California Workers’ Compensation Institute.
CWCI on Thursday reported that all but two of the largest 25 insurer groups in California collected less premium in 2020 than they did in 2019.
