Peplowski Named SCIF Interim Medical Director

The California State Compensation Insurance Fund announced Friday that Dr. Bernyce M. Peplowski will serve as interim medical director while the agency looks for a permanent replacement for Dr. Gideon Letz, who retired Jan. 7 at the carrier's request.Peplowski has practiced medicine for 29 years and is certified by the American Board of Preventive Medicine in Occupational and Environmental Medicine.
