Maximum monthly disability compensation increased to $3,802.17 for injuries sustained on or after July 1 to correspond with an increase in the state’s average weekly wage, the Nevada Division of Industrial Relations announced.
The average weekly wage increased to $878.10 for the current fiscal year, from $853.82 for the fiscal year ending June 30.
The division said average monthly wages are capped at 150% of the average weekly wage, multiplied by 4.33. And maximum disability compensation is capped at 66.67% of the average monthly wage.
