Oregon’s Workers’ Compensation Division is convening a rulemaking advisory meeting at the end of October to discuss permanent rules identifying criteria carriers have to satisfy to conduct a proper investigation of claims for COVID-19.
The division at the end of September adopted temporary rules defining what constitutes a “reasonable investigation” for COVID-19 claims that will be in effect through March 29.
