The Minnesota Workers’ Compensation Insurers Association has released its 2016 statistical plan manual, which contains the rules and instructions governing the reporting of statistical data for policies in Minnesota.
The information generated by the plan is used in the association’s Annual Ratemaking Report as well as for adjustment of individual employer premiums through various rating plans.
Minnesota Statute 79 requires insurers to maintain membership in and report loss experience data to a licensed data service organization. MWCIA is the only licensed DSO in Minnesota.
