Lawmakers Appoint Defense Attorney to Workers' Compensation Commission

The Virginia General Assembly has appointed defense attorney Robert A. Rapaport of Virginia Beach as workers’ compensation commissioner, Virginia Senate Clerk Susan Clarke Schaar said Thursday. Rapaport has extensive experience defending employers, insurers and self-insureds against comp claims for Clarke, Dolph, Rapaport, Hull & Brunick, the law firm says on its website.
