Hub Acquires Springfield-Area Brokerages

Hub International, an international brokerage, has acquired Field Eddy and Your Choice Insurance Agency to expand its presence in central and western Massachusetts. The two companies, collectively branded as FieldEddy, will bring Hub business in the education, health care and oil and gas industries, according to a Wednesday press release. FieldEddy offers property and casualty, personal line and employee benefits brokering in four locations in and near Springfield.
