Supreme Court Says Employer's 401(k) Contributions Aren't 'Wages'

The Iowa Supreme Court ruled that an employer's matching contributions to an employee’s 401(k) plan should not be considered part of the employee's weekly earnings for purposes of calculating the amount of his workers' compensation benefits.
