The International Association of Industrial Accident Boards and Commissions has scheduled discussions on the grand bargain, benefit adequacy, exclusive remedy and alternatives to workers' compensation during its annual convention in Chico from Aug. 31-Sept. 3.
IAIABC said the theme of its 101st convention is "Big Ideas in the Big City." Scheduled presentations include:
A discussion on the "grand bargain" between workers and employers, and how workers' compensation can be changed to restore goodwill between stakeholders.
Successful return-to-work programs.
