The Bureau of Workers’ Compensation is making good on a 9-month-old pledge to take $6 million of investment earnings and create a health and wellness program for workers at small businesses in high-risk industries.
The initiative — dubbed “Better You, Better Ohio!” — will launch Feb. 1 and will be operated by Aetna subsidiary ActiveHealth Management.
The program is free for qualified workers, who must meet three criteria:
Work for companies with 50 or fewer employees.
Work for companies that don’t have health and wellness programs.
