Revised MTUS Regulations Now in Effect

Revised Medical Treatment Utilization Schedule regulations that explain and clarify the process for making evidence-based treatment decisions took effect Monday, the Division of Workers' Compensation announced. The revised rules state the MTUS is the primary source of guidance for treating physicians and physician reviewers, and that it constitutes the standard of care for medical services provided to injured workers.
