The Tennessee Bureau of Workers’ Compensation is requesting applications from qualified attorneys interested in serving as a comp judge in Memphis.
The successful candidate will be appointed by the BWC administrator to complete the term of the current Memphis judge, which expires June 30, 2026. The appointee will also be eligible to serve two additional full terms.
Workers’ compensation judges must have a valid, active license to practice law in Tennessee. They also must be at least 30 and have at least five years of experience with work comp issues in the state.
