The West Virginia Supreme Court overturned a denial of benefits to a maintenance foreman for his alleged injuries from a workplace slip-and-fall.
Sidney McKinney worked for Pinnacle Mining Co. as a maintenance foreman. He claims that he slipped and fell at work in September 2018. He first fell onto his buttocks, then onto his head. There were no witnesses to the alleged incident.
