The Kansas Department of Labor announced an increase in the maximum weekly benefit for injured workers and the minimum weekly benefits paid to dependents.
Starting July 1 until June 30, 2016, the maximum weekly benefit will increase to $616, a 4% increase from the current rate of $594. The minimum weekly benefit will be $25.
The increase is related to the state’s average weekly wage, which is also increasing by 4% from $791.62 to $821.42.
