Oregon’s Workers’ Compensation Division has restored a methodology for calculating temporary disability benefits owed to workers employed through union hiring halls.
The permanent rules require carriers to calculate the rate of compensation on the basis of a five-day work week at 40 hours a week, regardless of the days actually worked per week.
