HealthTrust, PLT Cancel Merger; PLT Agrees to Refund $17.1 Million

Two municipal risk pools created by the former Local Government Center have cancelled an October 2013 agreement to merge, clearing the way for $17.1 million in refunds to employer members.In a deal announced last week, Property-Liability Trust will reacquire its assets and liabilities from HealthTrust and repay that sum to HealthTrust members.
