West Virginia’s Intermediate Court of Appeals upheld a finding that a worker had suffered a discrete, new compensable back injury. Case: Cabell County Commission v. Edgar, No. 25-ICA-4, 08/06/2025, published. Facts: David Edgar worked for the Cabell County Commission. He filed a workers’ compensation claim, asserting that he had injured his back and left leg in September 2023.
