Annual Report Notes Increased Productivity, Defends System

In its annual report for fiscal year 2007, the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission reported that it increased the number of review decisions by 50% and collected $1.2 million in penalties from uninsured employers.The report also defends the state’s workers’ compensation system costs in comparison to other states.
