Doctors who were left out of the Texas workers' compensation system for more than a decade will have a chance to re-enlist, thanks to a bill under consideration in the state House of Representatives.
House Bill 733, sponsored by Rep. Bill Zedler, R-Arlington, would correct the wording of current law, which forbids the participation of doctors who were removed from the list of authorized physicians but were not reinstated before Sept. 1, 2007.
