Governor Approves Portable Benefits Plans for Contractors

New Hampshire Gov. Kelly Ayotte signed a bill allowing contractors to voluntarily participate in portable benefit plans without altering their legal independent status. The governor signed HB 1245 on July 2, according to a notice posted to the legislature's website Friday.
