DWC Updates Durable Medical Equipment Fee Schedule

The California Division of Workers’ Compensation posted an order adjusting the durable medical equipment, prosthetics, orthotics and supplies section of the Official Medical Fee Schedule incorporating changes made by Medicare. The order, effective for services provided on or after Oct. 1, adopts the Medicare DMEPOS fee schedule fourth quarter release for calendar year 2021. Medicare modified both the DMEPOS and rural ZIP code files but did not revise the parenteral and enteral nutrition file.
