Task Force Wants More Documentation, Penalties for Misclassification

A worker misclassification task force appointed in April has recommended a number of changes, including additional documentation on subcontractors, heightened penalties for misclassification, and a web-based verification system to help stem the tide of payroll and premium fraud.
