One Call Care Management is partnering with wound-care company Acelity on a program to help ensure patients with hard-to-heal wounds comply with prescribed therapy.
The program, called iOn Progress Remote Therapy Monitoring, is used with a portable Acelity device that delivers negative pressure wound therapy.
Patients with hard-to-heal wounds may require extensive negative pressure therapy at home. But because of the extended healing times, patients might stop complying with the therapy. This may further increase the wound’s time to heal, and potentially result in emergency room visits...
