The Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation announced convictions of a doctor accused of operating a pill mill and business owners accused of operating without insurance or presenting phony certificates of insurance.
Dr. Morris Brown, 73, was sentenced to two years in federal prison on Feb. 8 after investigators discovered his involvement in an opioid ring, the BWC said in a statement.
