Non-Subscribers Late on Filing Forms Receive Three-Month Grace Period

Employers without workers’ compensation coverage can file overdue but mandatory reports to the Texas Division of Workers’ Compensation without penalty during a three-month grace period announced Thursday. Non-subscribers are required to notify the agency annually of their decision not to obtain coverage by submitting DWC Form-005, Employer Notice of No Coverage or Termination of Coverage.
