House Passes Bill to Expand Choice of Physicians

The Colorado House of Representatives passed a bill that would double the number of physicians an employer must offer to a worker seeking treatment for a job-related injury.The House on Thursday voted 37-27 to pass HB 1383, a bill by Rep. Angele Williams, D-Denver, that would require injured workers be allowed to seek treatment from a list of four employer-selected physicians.
