Roofer Faces federal Charges for allegedly Lying to OSHA Inspectors

What began as $71,600 in U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration fines for one Philadelphia-area roofer has now transformed into federal charges that could mean up to 25 years in prison. U.S. Attorney Zane David Memeger announced on Thursday that he is charging Meadowbrook roofing contractor James McCullagh with lying to OSHA inspectors who came to one of his work sites following the death of a worker in 2013. The worker died after falling 45 feet from a bracket scaffold at a church, and the resulting inspection led to penalties for failing to provide fall protection...
