The Mississippi Court of Appeals upheld a determination that an injured security guard was not entitled to permanent partial disability benefits. Case: Caffey v. Forest Health, No. 2023-WC-01232-COA, 03/18/2025, published. Facts: Walter Caffey worked for Forest Health as a security guard. He injured his back in October 2019 while helping an elderly patient. Caffey underwent a lumbar fusion performed by Dr. Richard Clatterbuck in March 2021.
