Oregon’s SAIF Corp. is developing a legislative proposal that would facilitate criminal prosecution of employers that engage in workers’ compensation fraud.
The state-chartered workers’ compensation carrier said in a two-page summary of its plans for a fraud bill that there is an imbalance in the system that only allows prosecution of workers.
