The Trenton City Council voted unanimously to hire a risk manager who will monitor workers’ compensation claims against the city.
The Times of Trenton newspaper reported that the newly created position will carry a salary range of between $60,880 and $86,614. The risk manager, whom the city plans to hire as soon as possible, will work with city employers who have been injured on the job to ensure that they not only visit the proper medical providers for needed treatment, but also that they don’t undergo unnecessary treatments.
