Pie Insurance Starts Online Sales of Comp Policies

Pie Insurance has begun online sales of workers’ compensation insurance policies directly to small businesses in seven states: Arizona, Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, Tennessee and Texas. Insurance offered by Pie is backed by Sirius Group, a company with an A rating from A.M Best. Pie uses predictive analytics to assess a small business’ workers’ comp risk, in many cases finding a lower risk than that calculated by more traditional means.
