Washington lawmakers passed a bill that would create a separate trust fund to collect certain assessments paid by self-insured employers. The state House of Representatives on Thursday voted 98-0 to pass Senate Bill 5084. The Senate voted 47-2 to pass it March 8. Senate Bill 5084 would create a self-insurance reserve fund to collect certain assessments.
