The Virginia Supreme Court ruled that a circuit court properly apportioned the funds available under an automobile liability policy between an injured worker and her employer’s lien.
Savannah Padgett worked at a Shoe Department store in Suffolk. On Oct. 17, 2019, Mary Magdalene Brown crashed her vehicle into the store, injuring Padgett.
