Professional employer organization Barrett Business Services Inc. appointed Thomas B. Cusick to fill a newly created position on its board of directors, according to filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
The Vancouver, Washington-based company reported that its board recently approved expanding the number of directors to seven from six and selected Cusick to fill the vacancy created by the change. The appointment is effective immediately, and Cusick will serve until the company’s 2017 annual meeting of shareholders, when he is expected to stand for re-election.
