A Southern California landscaper was arrested for operating his own business while collecting benefits for an alleged back injury sustained while working for another firm, American Employer Defense Investigations said in a statement.
Ignacio Luna Silva of Anaheim County was arrested Tuesday morning as he drove away from his home. A complaint alleging multiple felonies was with the Orange County Superior Court based on evidence that reportedly shows he was working while receiving workers' compensation benefits.
