The North Carolina Industrial Commission (NCIC) has announced a series of hospital fee reductions intended to return fees for the treatment of injured workers to the charge levels in effect as of July 1, 2012.The cuts were agreed to by business groups, insurers and the North Carolina Hospital Association as part of a compromise that requires a review of both inpatient and outpatient fees by an outside consultant.The changes take effect on April 1 and reflect a charge neutralization discount.
