Nearly a quarter of a billion dollars in liens have been filed under the names of two providers, their medical corporations and a durable medical equipment distributor indicted in a kickback scheme alleged to have defrauded California workers' compensation carriers out of $25 million.
One provider's medical company filed 74 liens demanding $475,647 the day after the indictments were unsealed.
