Injured workers in Los Angeles County tend to be older and have more experience than workers injured in other parts of the state, according to a California Workers’ Compensation Institute bulletin issued Monday. The average age of claimants in Los Angeles County on claims from accident years 2015 through 2019 was 44.3. Claimants in the area had an average of 6.7 years of experience at the time of injury.
