Appropriations Committees Pass Comp Bills

California’s projected $12 billion budget did not interfere with the progression of workers’ compensation bills through fiscal committees in both chambers of the Legislature. While state lawmakers cited the deficit to kill off a number of measures Friday, nine comp bills were passed to the floor.
