The Home Builders and Remodelers Association of Northern Vermont has publicly denounced the state's Department of Labor for its methods of auditing businesses for misclassified employees.
Maureen Connolly, the executive officer for the organization, published an opinion piece in the Rutland Herald on Sunday calling the department's auditing actions "overzealous."
