The Arkansas Workers’ Compensation Commission has named Administrative Law Judge Barbara Webb as its new chief executive officer, according to the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette.
The AWCC named Webb to the CEO post after Gov. Asa Hutchinson asked them to consider her for the job. Workers’ Compensation Commissioner Karen McKinney reported to the Joint Budget Committee’s Personnel Subcommittee last week that the commission had appointed Webb. She is the wife of Doyle Webb, chairman of the state’s Republican Party.
