The Alaska Workers’ Compensation Board is accepting written comments on proposed changes to its Medical Fee Schedule through Oct. 4 and will hear testimony on the proposal during an Oct. 14 meeting.
Among other things, the proposed fee schedule for 2022 would reduce conversion factors for radiology, surgery and anesthesia services.
Under the proposal, the conversion factor for radiology would be reduced by 9.7% to $121 from $134. The factor for surgery would be reduced 4.8% to $119 from $125, and the conversion factor for anesthesia would be reduced 4.76% to $100 from $105.
