Worker Gets Civil Damages From Employer Over Lack of Comp Coverage

The Tennessee Court of Appeals upheld a determination that an injured worker was a regular employee of an employer that failed to provide workers’ compensation coverage for him and that he was entitled to an award of civil damages.
