Indictment Adds Comp Bill Bribery Charge to Yee's Woes

An indictment released Friday adds a racketeering charge against California state Sen. Leland Yee, alleging among other things that he agreed to vote in favor of a bill that places greater restrictions on cumulative trauma claims by professional athletes in exchange for a $60,000 bribe. The 148-page grand jury indictment supersedes previous charges filed against Yee and 28 others who were allegedly were part of an alleged crime ring led by Raymond "Shrimp Boy" Chow.
