A seasonal worker who was allegedly seen working on the same day that she denied having another job was sentenced to probation and restitution after pleading no contest to a misdemeanor fraud charge.
Yeimi N. Espinoza pleaded guilty to one count of concealing or failing to disclose an event in order to receive benefits.
She was ordered to pay $11,238 in restitution and ordered to complete one year of probation. She was sentenced to 30 days in jail, but that was suspended pending completion of probation.
Espinoza will also be required to complete a 24-week theft awareness class.
