A federal judge ruled that a $20 million lawsuit filed by a former kicker for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers over an MRSA infection should be heard by a state court, the Tampa Tribune reported on Friday.
Lawrence Tynes alleges in the suit that he contracted methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus because of poor housekeeping at the Buc's training facility in Tampa. The illness ended Tynes' National Football League career.
