A New York appellate court ruled that a homeowner was exempt from liability under the Labor Law for a worker's accident on his property, even though he used his property for commercial purposes. Case: Levy v. Baumgarten, No. 2014-05348, 02/08/2017, published. Facts: Yehonatan Levy injured his hand while working for Levi Baumgarten on a renovation project.
